The kind and quality of formwork is different in the market. For a man without rich experience, it is hard to distinguish them. Then how to quickly identify good ones?
1. watch transection of plywoodGood plywood with obvious layering and clear vein, tight slice and without warping and crack. The tighter and firmer it is between layers, the more press it is in the process, the more re-usage times it will be used.
2. watch knot of panel
Knots include live knots and dead knots. It is impossible without a knot as a natural product. The reasonable distribution of living knots makes the plywood nice. As national standard, the living knot φ≤3mm and dense dead knots φ≤2mm without dropping are not regarded as defective knots. This panels are usually used on the construction required not so high glossy concrete surface such as outer wall, installing insulation construction and external decoration etc.
3. watch flexibility
Put a piece of panel slantways and let a man stand on it. If there is obvious fracture sound, it is not whole piece veneer core, otherwise, it shows the strong panel face and high gluing degree. Under normal condition, this kind of formwork panel is durable with more re-usage times and less expansion ratio.
